Usage

Used in organic synthesis; pharmaceutical intermediates, can be used to synthesize a variety of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs, has anti-inflammatory and coronary blood flow increasing effects, is the active ingredient in the leaves of the evergreen plant for anti-angina pectoris, and is one of the main active ingredients of the old man grass for the treatment of nephritis; also used in spice synthesis.
