Usage

1.Phase transfer catalysts (PTCs): They carry anionic reactants from the aqueous phase into the organic phase, accelerating 

many important organic synthesis reactions.

2.Solvent extractants: Cationic extractants are used to extract and separate rare metals, radioactive elements in nuclear fuel 

reprocessing, and certain organic acids and pollutants from aqueous solutions. They have applications in hydrometallurgy 

and environmental chemistry.

3.Surfactants: Cationic surfactants are used in the formulation of certain antistatic agents, disinfectants, and emulsifiers.
