Usage

1.Calcium chloride is used in brine used in refrigeration equipment, road deicing agents and desiccants, etc.

2.Anhydrous calcium chloride is a dehydrating agent and desiccant commonly used in industrial production and laboratories (but cannot dry ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and chemicalbook alcohol). It is mainly used to dry gas, petroleum, organic solvents, etc. It is used as a raw material for making metallic calcium and various calcium salts in the inorganic industry.

3.Calcium chloride is also used as a sizing agent for textiles, a water purifier, an antifreeze agent, a food preservative, and a road cleaning agent.
