Usage

1. Used as a UV absorber, 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone (UV-9) derived from this product, 2-hydroxy-4-n-octyloxybenzophenone (UV-531), etc.

2. Benzophenones, as well as other monohydroxy, bis, trihydroxy, and tetrahydroxy compounds, are the most widely used absorbing light stabilizers. It can absorb 290-400 nm UV light and has good compatibility with most synthetic resins. It is widely used in polymer materials.

3. 2,4-Dihydroxybenzophenone is suitable for polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, epoxy resins, cellulose resins, unsaturated polyesters, coatings and synthetic rubbers. The maximum absorption wavelength range is 280-340 nm, and the general dosage is 0.1-1%.

4. Suitable for polyolefin, polyvinyl chloride and polystyrene.

5. Used as a light stabilizer for plastics, it can effectively protect organic glass and fabrics, prevent data from being deteriorated by light, and also be used as an intermediate for synthesizing other UV absorbers.

6. It is mainly used as a light stabilizer for plastics. It can effectively protect organic glass and fabrics, prevent fabrics from being deteriorated by light, and is also used as an intermediate for synthesizing other UV absorbers.
