Usage

Excellent solvent, used as a metal surface treatment agent, cleaning agent before electroplating and painting, metal degreaser, and extractant for fats, oils, and waxes. Used for organic synthesis and pesticide production. Trichloroethylene can be used to produce tetrachloroethylene as an anthelmintic agent; Used for the production of hexachloroethane, as a veterinary deworming agent, to prevent and treat liver leech disease, gastric leech disease, clonorchiasis, and nematode disease in ruminant animals.
