Usage

This product is a reactive flame retardant that can be used in polyester and epoxy resins, but its effect is not as good as tetrabromophthalic anhydride. Tetrachlorophthalic anhydride is also an intermediate in organic synthesis of pesticides (rice blast phthalein), dyes, drugs, plasticizers, fireproof paints, and other organic compounds.
