Physical properties: White powder, which is not easy to store. Generally, the product is a 

colorless and transparent solution of methanol containing less than 10%. It is volatile, 

flammable, and easily absorbs water from the air to decompose and produce lithium 

hydroxide, making the solution turbid and toxic. It should be stored in a closed container. React violently when exposed to water.

Storage: Stable at room temperature and pressure, avoiding contact with oxidants and moisture. 

Usage: Mainly used as a condensation agent and strong base catalyst for organic synthesis reactions, as well as a methoxylation 

agent for the production of vitamins and sulfamethoxazole drugs. A small amount is used for pesticide production. It can also be 

used as a catalyst for edible fatty oils.
